I'm in agreement. If it wasn't for the people, church would be a great place! Actually, I'm not looking for perfect people because they aren't there, and I'm sure not one of them! I'm looking for a place I can feel comfortable with the worship style, size, and rapport with people. Every place has it's good, bad and ugly (hmm, where have I heard that before?) I don't expect anyone to throw down a red carpet or meet my every need (otherwise I'd be my STBX!). I go out and I interact and get involved, I make things happen. Sitting in a pew waiting for everyone else to approach you is almost certainly a way to fail. Other people are just as anxious about approaching you as you are of approaching them. So when someone does, as happened today, it's a real blessing. So, on with the tour!
