Well, Whatis is on the Church Tour 2009, it's kind of like following the Grateful Dead. This morning I hit a 9:00 am service at one church and headed right out for the 11:00am service at my friends church. Tonight I'll take in the "prayer and celebration" service, whatever that may be. I'm so amazed that every church I've been to since I've become a Christian all seem to have such wonderful messages professing love and acceptance of people versus condemnation and self righteousness! I guess there is hope for the Christian church I was on my way out of my friends church (she wasn't there today) when someone tapped me on the shoulder, it was a couple who had been sitting in front of me during the service. The husband said "I just wanted to tell you that you have a beautiful singing voice" and his wife said "you should be up there with our choir" I thanked them and we introduced ourselves. The funny thing is that the week before the lady sitting in front of me turned around and said almost the same thing to me! I'm liking this place Apparently tomorrow night there is a film and discussion afterwards, I think I'll check that out too. So, the tour continues...and AT this church has communion every week so that means a little bread and refreshment at every service. Hmm, free coffee or bread and grape juice. I gotta really think about this.
