it makes me feel really selfish.

this new bike has been OUR dream. and he is still getting it, still asking me my opinion and my input, yet, he has his new life, and he aside from the ow and thier child has busted his butt to be able to get it. if i was dbing right, i could fake the happiness. its not that i am not happy, just hurt i guess. its just another loss really.

making dinner, stuffed peppers anyone?

What good is faking the happiness? be hurt, gosh even be angry if it helps but unless your going for Saint of the year, allow yourself to feel all the normal emotions just not the selfish one, okay?
I have read enough of your posts to know you are a good and kind person,don't sell yourself short.

Consider yourself very gently reprimanded.
I don't mean you have to spoil his pleasure in it just be human and don't feel guilty about not sharing his joy.

actually, when he asked me about why i didnt sound so exccited, i emailed him back and told him. maybe not the best dbing. BUT i did tell him why i wont be as happy as he is. it really made me feel better!!

i wasnt harsh, not super nice, but definetly not mean. i just told him WHY i didnt seem as excited as months ago about it.

i wont argue with him in person or the phone, if we disagree, i just email him. its no easier!
