Well, H is sick, he needs to take antibiotics for a week, but is leaving tonight to go on a skiing holiday with his girlfriend and all of her 'young' friends. Sometimes it still baffles me how he can be living that life instead of the one he was living, but like you all say, no use worrying about it !!
So, it will be nice and peacefull without H around or ow for that matter...I always feel some extra freedom when they leave the country. It no longer bothers me that they are getting to spend that time together, weird maybe, but since I know it's probably meaningless anyway, I don't let it take up space in my head !
Kids and I did some big spring cleaning today.... we cleaned out their rooms of clutter and of toys...we're donating lots and all the broken stuff has been thrown away (finally !!!!). Kids even vacumed their rooms voluntarily... !! YES ! They were so sweet and wonderful today, I love those days !!!
Tomorrow we'll see what the weather brings...D10 still needs to work on her bookreport and there is still lots of clearing up left to do !
I have hopefully for the last time gotten rid of my 'date-stalker' ...he kept calling and sending me emails... I've told him I am truly not interested and to please get on with his life...

Amazingly enough you can do all three of those, or even just two of those at once.
It's damn hard work but very rewarding. I'm just coming to the end of my degree (last pieces of work have to be in on 29th April). It was probably the wrong time to do just when H first left but you know what it's meant I've done something for ME and it has been well worth the effort.
Now all I need are all those friends you have b/c I'm sick and tired of my own company

My friend who helped me through this hell, and stood by me through everything, every moment, every step...came by on Monday to tell me that her H has left her... !!!!
They were the PERFECT couple !!! They were loving, caring, have 5 kids ranging from 14 to 23 years old...and they were still in love !!!
Her H told her he felt suffocated, that he didn't know if this is what he wants out of life...OMG !!!!!!!!!!!
I am in shock and have been for the past few days...
I cannot believe the rate of this all ! It's faster hitting than any virus we know, and there is still NO CURE !!!!
On a brighter note, I may have a date tomorrow night, with a 32 year old guy, no kids, he's a DJ (hahaha) and has a proper job during the day too.

Cinders, I'm very sorry to hear that yur friend's h walked out on her. He definitely sounds like he's caught the mlc virus. I'm sure you'll give her good advice and support as well.
Enjoy your date. Just remember...expectations at zero and just have fun!
