Just caught up. Have to say that unfortunately, I'm not surprised by DH's behavior. He was obviously not out of any portion of the fog during deployment. Hopefully now that he will be back in the area of his family (when does he return from his adulterous galavant to MI?) he will be hammered upside the head by God with the wrong of what he is doing. If not, the man has no conscience!
Well, we can question the conscience, as DH said he was going to change his plane ticket to come back a day or two early and no big surprise--he did not do it. He is supposed to be back sometime tonight. I don't know what his plan is, as he could not give ANYONE the courtesy of a phone call this past week+. No, you are right, the fog is still quite thick. I guess I am still the lighthouse trying to beam through.

I am praying for you and your beautiful family.
Thanks for the continued prayers. The kids have still not really asked for him. Kind of sad, really. They are beautiful kids with huge hearts that he is crushing daily. They are quickly learning they cannot depend on DH.

As an aside, going back to what cookie said, God is using you as an example for others so they can see how His love and Mercy can work through His faithful servant. Honestly, I've been looking at my own sitch as God using me to warn others how NOT to be complacent in their M's. I am a walking billboard for "DO NOT DO WHAT I DID!" \:\)
You were not the only spouse to ever get complacent--we all do it to some extent. However, NONE of us deserve what has happened to us--especially the way these WAHs blindside us with their As. I know one day God will use this journey as a testimony of His grace and mercy. He is truly awesome and I count my blessings that I have chosen to walk with His guidance instead of man's.

Living God's blessings with grace and dignity~
