I hope your meeting went well. In regard to communicating my wife and I texted each other to arrange our childrens movements on Sunday. Because we communicated and things fell into place my wife's last message went 'its a win win situation all round, it only takes a bit of communication!' I wondered if it was a sarcastic text, but I believe she actually thought we had established a successful line of communication - a weak area for me. I want to continue to communicate better but need to structure it as I am trying to detach and not initiate contact, therefore I will continue to wait for contact, but my response will be measured, validate and value my wifes views, be definitive where possible to show clear decision making.
On the 5LL, Coach mentioned Words of Affirmation. This is definately one of my wife's languages, also Coach mentioned Acts of Service which is now hard to invoke as I am not living at the family home. I was involving myself more in chores etc before I left.
