Yes, for those who are wondering, Mike sent me a text early last Monday morning. My cell was on the kitchen counter and DH saw it go off. The ensuing conversation went like this--
DH: Who is Mike?
SMW: A friend.
DH: Has he been around the kids?
SMW: No, he is just a friend.
He then walked out of the room. It was pretty priceless, considering the situation! LOL
I am standing firm. Have had some teary moments, but they are short lived. When the opportunity presents itself, I will tell DH those wise words from our Memphis friend.
I will keep up the prayers for your dad and Michelle's mom. Thanks for thinking of me during your own trials.
