BND, In many cases, this happens exactly as you stated...you pick up the pieces, move on as best you can and learn how to live on your own and that's when they wake up and realize what a foolish thing that they have done and want to come home. That's why it's not only the mlcers decision to return home, but the left behind spouse actually has the ultimate decision as to whether he/she wants to reconcile w/the wayward spouse.
You were blessed in many ways...you had a strong faith, beautiful children who were there for you, your friends and this board. Now, you and your h have been given a second chance to thoroughly enjoy all of your blessings and live life to the fullest as a family.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
