Wow!!

It's been a little while since I've been on. Looks like a new mlc wave has hit. Seems to be a lot of new folks posting.

It's been a crazy few weeks. The company I work for has implemented a furlough period, which isn't good. They threatened to layoff three employees if we didn't agree. So I'll be having a little time off unpaid. Not too good right now but it is what it is. I do see a blessing in all of this though. They have also limited the work done by contractors, which means that I have had a whole lot more responsibility placed on me. I figured out that I will be able to offset the manditory unpaid days with overtime that I will now be receiving, plus I am learning new skills.

So, at the begining of the week I thought I wouldn't have a job much longer and now it looks as though I will be getting OT now. Funny how everything seems to all work out.

Jimbo paid me a visit for a few days. That was awesome. We didn't get a chance to do to much because of work, but it was very nice to have him here.

My dad is doing ok, she still hasn't filed yet. He has a few medical issues that he is dealing with too. I'll see him today, hopefully I can get a chance to talk a little more with him.

Nothing much in the way of contact with Miss G. I did receive two calls from my x MIL. I have no idea why, she didn't leave a message either time.

I am loving life right now, yes it's hetic but I am enjoying it once again. I don't even know what I would do if my X ever came out of this. I really have some direction now and some new goals, and after speaking with my Aunt last night, I will be going on a date with someone she knows soon. In a few weeks it will be tournament time too. I can't wait!! The money situation is a little tight so I'll have to chose wisely about which tournaments I fish.

The kids are doing great, we have a fun day planned.

I had no idea life would end up this way, but it seems to be getting better and better each day. I do believe I have made it to the otherside of all of this, I'm excited about life once again.

The kids and I are going to plant some flowers this morning, then we are headed to my grandpa's to do some fishing and have dinner with the family.

In the beginning of all of this I couldn't imagine what life would be like. Now, I'm so looking forward to it.

Hey! I'm so glad your job situtation is working out. That kind of stuff is scary. I had a friends husband going through the same type of scare the last couple of weeks.

Sounds like you and the kids have a good day planned. Congrats on the date prospect. I bet you'll have fun. Good for you for getting back out there. Scary, but exciting at the same time.

You sound really really good. Later!!

I told you there was life after...

I think we tend to use our experiences and learn from them. It is tough beginning a "new" life but it is also fun.

A date huh? I hope you enjoy it. Don't know how you will feel with it but my first date after all these years was fun, awkward, scary and exciting all rolled into one. I felt 16 again.

Just take it one day at a time.

Glad to hear you still have your job. I was a little worried last week.

Time to get ready for playing poker...hopefully I can bluff everyone and win. Take care and I'll talk with you later.

Yeah,

I am excited about life again, which is good. I took the kids fishing yesterday for a little while. We caught 8 fish. All my son kept saying was "my turn! my turn!" (takes after dad)

Things are looking better everyday. Last week was hectic, but we got through it. I finally got caught up on some much needed sleep too.

I'll have to contact Miss G soon to make a decision about where my daughter will be going to school. I still don't know why my X mil called, but I guess she should have left a message.

I spoke with my dad for a few yesterday. Man!! he was all spun out. I couldn't get him to slow down. He has so much going on right now and is looking at the big picture. (everything at once) I'm trying to get him to focus on what he can do today. We will see how that goes.

Awww....that is so sweet. How does your daughter like fishing? My girls loved it when they were younger.

Like father like son...he has the hamster wheel spinning also. I wish him well. He is lucky to have a son like you standing behind him.

Have a good week!!!

I'm spin free now and it feels great.

My dad has a whole lot more going on than I ever did so I can understand why. We keep working on that though. He still gets sucked in to her drama way too much.

I would love to break it down to her and tell her whats up, but I can't and it wouldn't do any good even if I did.

Hey! Got your post, be back later tonight. The fishing thing, maybe you can give me some tips. My son loves to fish and was just talking about it yesterday again. We live close to a pond where people fish (just for fun, not seriously) and S was asking me if we could. His dad always took him, and now that's not happening, so I am determined to learn. Yes, the whole thing grosses me out, but I can get over it. Maybe.

I just got an email from Miss G. Impatient mlc mode.....

Just venting \:D

"I need to know when I'm off your insurance and I need something that states that in writing. Will you please check into that?"

Well if you and your lawyer hadn't left important things out in the decree, this would be done and I could. However since you did, I can't do a thing yet and it is holding things up and costing us more money. Thank you.

"Also how is getting my name off the mortgage going?"

Well....Lets see, I have three months from May 1st, and again see above answer. Not a whole lot I can do just yet. Thank You again. Please go get bent. Your on my schedule right now \:\)

"You can go close on your boat loan may 1st. Don't forget."

Oh not a chance at that. I am going to use and enjoy that sucker without the hassle, complaining, and nagging from you. It's so much more enjoyable that way.

Just saying a few things that I "can't" say. \:\)

I'm bad.

Oh well, I'm not going to respond to this email. I can't do anything until I hear back from my lawyer anyway.
