Sounds like the meeting went really really well and that H is feeling a bit more comfortable in the interaction between you. That's great news- well done you. I really like that you were able to be the non-pressuring influence when everyone else is making demands of him.
Remember to keep expectations low! I know you now that, but it's sometimes hard to do in practise when you get a few baby steps at once. Great news overall though- who'd have thought he'd be bringing back presents a couple of months ago?! Fab!
