I took this as pre-mediation "St. (Mrs. Puppy's First Name)" behavior, which she did the last go-around as well.
Yes, but they can only keep that up so long. My H was acting like Saint H at first too, but gradually that seems to fade away. Not worth the time and trouble, or maybe they can only keep up saintly behavior for a very short time.
It is sad; and I feel guilt about the kids, but sometimes I think it's going to be ok or even better this way. Their mom is a lot happier now. Someday I hope to have a nice, healthy relationship with someone and then they'll be able to see that, and not the way their dad treated me.
