Enjoy your son tonight. You have such a beautiful family, Puppy. My heart aches for you.

It's so sad. She got through one of the hardest things she could have gone through- facing her mistakes head on with all of her family knowing, and then she didn't follow through on the most important part- how to repair the marriage. It doesn't just "happen". And then Retrouvaille, opening up the wounds....and then not using those communication skills and looking at those wounds and working to fix them. Ugh.

It takes two.

My words don't help you much, but I guess I'm understanding your frustration, and sometimes just having someone do that can help. I hope so.

So hard to understand how a WAS can throw a way a family life. I guess everything in life is disposeable now. Your spouse just doesn't make you tingle all over anymore... Dispose of them and find a new shiny model. What they don't realize, that new model is refurbished and the problems will show up soon!

It does, WDID, and I do appreciate your thoughts to me. Watching my wife struggle with this makes me all the more amazed at the strength that you have. NOBODY wants to face their own chit, and it takes a special kind of maturity to do that.

I do think that someday my wife will realize what she ran away from. I really do.

Had a GREAT time at the driving range and putting green tonite with the boys. Came home and the Yankees game was postponed due to rain (bummer!), but S12 is enjoying the NBA playoffs and rooting against the dreaded Celtics. I made some bbq pork chops on the grill, rubbed with kosher salt and cracked black pepper and basted in apple juice. Yumm!!!

Hey Puppy,

Sorry to hear about your change in circumstances. You seem to be in good spirits now. Your support here is wonderful.

I see you're a Springsteen fan. I lived in NYC from 1975-79. I had a boyfriend who was a fanatic and we saw "the boss" in concert at least 3 different times - at his peak - it was amazing.

Ahhh, the Born to Run/Darkness years!! The best ones!!!

I have this philosophy that there is both a Springsteen lyric, and a Far Side cartoon, to fit every situation in life.
