Well, well! You see I am getting educated Here's me thinking it meant tea and cake not tea and crumpet(s) hmm perhaps I could have both, that way I would use up the calories in a delightful way. Thanks Mike, good to see you post.
You gals from the UK are so sophisticated....afternoon tea......not my beverage or activity of choice, I am afraid. But my ethnic originsa re Italian and even though we are still part of the commonwealth up here, I never took a liking to tea....now Guiness is another story. D8 had a great time at the stables this weekend...i think she is in love with a horse. She also is pretty fond of the GF who was introduced as a friend of mine. So we already have plans for next weekend which include both our daughters at the stables....nothing to precipitous... The more I speka with GF the more I realize that her values are very close to mine....ok she looks pretty nice too!
Sorry John Guinness and a cream cake just doesn't float my boat! Now bubbly and stawberries plus some afternoon delight-well I could posibly lose the sophistication! ha who am I kidding chance would be a fine thing.
So happy to hear g/f and d bonded that must be a huge comfort to you, good luck with both girls next weekend, a common interest certainly helps.
Hey naej, when you least expect it, things happen. I know my D and I was sure that she would get along fine with GF. She gets along well with everyone...she is very outgoing and respectful....she was a hit at the stables with the staff there as well.
By the way bubbly and strawberries beats tea any day. It will be interesting to see if both girls get along...
Glad you are doing so well and having a great time. My D turns 3 next week and she is having a horse-themed birthday party. Woo-hoo! She would be so jealous!
It is great that your D has found a horse to love. Maybe she can have a passion for horses and not notice the boys for another ten years...
