Hi Truelove, I am reading about your dates and just wondered if by upmarket you mean culturally as in say theatre tastes, classical music or do you mean having more money to spend on entertainment, days out etc.

For myself I have had to downsize my lifestyle due to financial constraints. Concerts etc are expensive over here. Yet I really enjoy the theatre.
How do you sift or sort when looking at ads for possible dates,obviously you don't give a financial statement, lol, so is it just a case of talking and meeting up first?
Sorry to be nosey but I am curious how this works nowadays.
My ony real dating was done back in the dark ages when possible b/f's were known to me or at least their familys etc.
I am not looking for someone who could keep me in the style to which I became accustomed although that would be nice but on the other hand I would hate to be embarrassed by my lack of cash.
I hope you understand what I mean.
You seem to be enjoying your dates are they all within your localality or do you travel to meet them or vice versa.
Sorry as you can see I am trying to pluck up some courage. I just feel so out of date,so to speak.
