That's right. The school for special needs kids in our area is $30,000 a year for the 2 children, and regular school didn't work out although I tried for several years but we were homeschooling and school and it was horrible. So not practical at this time.
I am working part time. BTW, H never mentioned being unhappy with me about my staying home until after he asked for a D and told me he was in love with OW. He was also 100% supportive of homeschooling until after that as well. It seems to me a lot of his decision-making at this point is centered on financial which is practical but he seems in denial of the kids. My son is severely autistic and my dd moderately. I agree if my kids weren't special needs, I would already have a full-time job.
