I am curious because you mentioned that your husband use to get angry about you not working. So I am guessing here but was that a huge arguement factor while you guys were married? I know my husband used about five paragraphs in his deposition about how I wouldn't work during our marriage. Then had another question if you have the kind of education you have why not look for a really great job and utilize your education? You could have awesome benefits and everything. If your husband is planning bankruptcy it would seem it could be a positive thing for you to become more independent of him rather then counting on him financially for everything. It honestly would give you a sense of freedom on top of less worry about finances. It also could be used against you in court for not going out working when you are capable with a degree. Not trying to sound negative or anything so sorry if I am coming across that way. My lawyer had just discussed this with me about a judge frowning on that because of the times. They don't understand the importance of the stay at home mom anymore in the courts.
