I filled out a credit check and told them I didn't have credit, although I realized I was on the utility bill (along with H) so I put that down. And listed my pastor as a personal reference & all. They said they might do a month-to-month lease with me then (but letting me stay the full year if I pay each time which of course I would). I dropped it off Wed. afternoon so I'm hoping they'll call back tomorrow and I'm going to keep working on finding another place just in case. First one that will let me sign a lease wins!
It last 2 weeks. A couple days (I think 2 of them)we have 2 performances in one day (matinee for kids and evening for adults). So will see how that goes. They usually do 7 performances, but are doing 10 for ours. I know they're hurting for money so maybe that's why. I'm thinking about asking my boss if I could work all the days I don't have the play 3 days the 1st week, and 4 the 2nd. I don't think I could do the performance and all the walking and they make you come early for warmups, costume, and stuff. And the 2 a days will be almost all day anyway! But I really love it, so it's worth it!!!
Yeah, he's always mad for something. Used to be mad at me I wasn't working, now b/c I am and can't do stuff all the time. So just kind of glad I don't have to deal with that.
D9 says he's still getting angry sometimes at them. One time was her last visit she forgot to wear her glasses and left them in the case at home. I usually remind her and make sure, but you know how it's been lately so didn't. She also just told me on the Tues night he takes them, he sees them an hour or so that night, then goes running the next am with friends (why doesn't he run the other 5 mornings a week he doesn't have them???) and then to work so she and S15 are bored and left alone in his apt. It seems obvious H started the 2nd night just to reduce child support.
