IMO, his wife has always had a screw or two loose. She is 48 and going through menopause, and is now way worse than before though.

Oh great.......something else to look forward to as I age gracefully.

Maybe now he will talk a bit more and I can help him. We shall see. I'm going over there sometime this weekend to help him pack some of his things.

Now that the ice has been broken maybe he will open up to you more and call for advice when needed. It is good he has you there to talk to.
