I am still here. And I am doing ok. Thank God I think I am managing my emotions better and I keep the balance, most of the times...
Life is good. Sometimes we forget what we have and focus on what we desire. We should be thankful for our life while fighting for what we want...
Something is gonna happen soon. I know.

I have definitely learned that over the past year, especially the past seven months.

I am feeling that same thing here. Good, bad or indifferent, the sense of expectancy is floating in the air.

Hey Lan, Thanks!! It would be a HUGE novel!!! I will get to 100, I think. FG (miss you) was right...

Margaritas for everyone and anything else your heart desires... (that I can provide).

H is devastated, seems his sister has an affair (the second one in 15 years)and she wants out of the M. Her H outed the A to him and his dad and his side of the family in a gathering he arranged last night. Sounds like my FiL was really really sad. 2 out of 2 kids in 2 years breaking their homes and OPs involved. My SiL was acting more "free" ever since her mom died. As if she was the only one whose oppinion mattered. Weird stuff...

Talked to his BiL. The guy is lost, cant believe this is happening, again. I advised him to stay low, think of what he wants and keep his cool and distance for a while...

It didnt affect me one bit. Except that I am sad for my BiL and FiL, and of course for their kids, I feel it didnt bring back any memories or hurt. We'll see.

Other than that, I took no coat with me today and it started raining... The sun is out now again and John, there was NO wet Tshirt contest...
xxxx

No wet t-shirt????? Too bad!

Sorry about your BIL and the kids. Everytime I hear another one of these stories, I can't help but think about how selfish some people are. inevitably, it also brings me back a few years....glad it does not affect you that way.

I guess most of us are all battle worn for news of others failed marriages. I feel like making my new slogan be "Sh!t happens".

Just yesterday my kids were talking about other kids in their class they know of who have divorced parents. D6 only knows of one other in her class and S8 knows of 3 in his class. S8 also knows the statistics of first and second marriage success. They both are aware there is a good chance that some of their classmates will go through a divorce before they finish all the grades in their small school.

Kerry--

it is so sad when young children are confronted with the brutal facts of our defective society. How on earth can we protect them when one of their own parents so glibly walks away without making any effort to honor the promise to protect these children they brought into the world?
