The high. I graduated from Doc academy. While I was talking today, he had a slight smile, for most of the hour. I asked him what the smile was for. He said it was really nice to just listen to me & see how I'm handling my own life & taking charge of my own happiness & that I didn't need him to come up with any solutions. I had my own.
I told Doc that if I need him, I know where to find him. He agreed & we high fived (the high five has been a standing joke) Each time I had a great week, he'd say "are you ready to high five & be done here?"
The low......something to do with H of course. If I even had a shred of respect left for him as a person..... I lost it today when my attorney told me about something he claimed in his response. There is absolutely nothing left that he can do to surprise me at the depths he will sink to get what he wants.
I told him I didn't even care how he treated me, or what he claimed. I do care about the example he's setting for his sons on how to treat a woman that has bore his children, & sacrificed her own career aspirations to care for those children, & him for all these years.
M 19 years, MC for 8 months, DB'd for 8 months 4 kids; 18, 15, 14, & 10 I was never meant to be a doormat. It took me years of therapy to become assertive enough to stop his abuse.
