WAW New life with OM #2

Meeting with IC went well as usual, I always feel so good coming out of his office. Today the sun was out and the temp was upper 50s

Got home and S13 had a friend over and they wanted pizza and hot wings - sounded good to me so I picked some up and we ate. S15 (still not playing) had a away game and they lost 9-4. He ate when he got home.

After dinner I went on a long walk and then went to the little league meeting which was about an hour. Walked home and did some laundry and talked with a friend on the phone. Need to get up early to take S15 to school for baseball, double header tomorrow and I'm so glad we are off of work as I'm very tired today.

This morning took S15 to school for baseball then came home and am making waffles as S13 loves them. S15 may play today so I'll walk up to the field in a while and check out the game

Well, S15 did play today and he did good. They lost the first game 6-2 and he only had 1 at-bat and made a fly out. The second game he had 1 double, 1 triple, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored as they won 11-1

After we got home and had something to eat we colored eggs (S15, his girlfriend, S13 and one of his buddies) it was a lot of fun

Now just relaxing as the kids are playing outside in the cold...

Then the kids came in and wanted ice cream so we went to Cold Stone and had some nice cold ice cream

Came back home and S15, his girlfriend and I watched Hancock and the younger kids played cards in the kitchen.

Now, I'm working on the taxes and S15 is playing XBOX and S13 is watch a movie. This has been a fun day and again I'm so glad to be home with the kids. They have not heard from their mom since early this morning.

Since, S15 is not playing in the first game today - I decided to make chewy cocoa brownies for Easter

I'll walk up to the field later to watch the second game.

I think W may come to game also, that will be nice as she hardly has seen the kids this weekend. S13 has not seen her since Thursday morning. Not sure if S13 will come to the game as he has plans with some friends for this afternoon. They better not eat any brownies or my parents will be disappointed

Did have lots of dreams about W last night, some good some not so good. Missing her lots this morning but looking forward to baseball and I have bowling tonight.

Well, S15 pitched in the second game and did ok, guess his hand is better. They lost both games today to a very good school (4-0 & 6-2). S15 had one hit. W did make it to some of the game.
Then I walked home with a friend whom I have not seen in months, it was good to catch up.

My W did show up to church services yesterday and it was fine, she looked very nice. She said hello to me and hugged the boys. After the service she walked with us, as our cars were parked near each other. She asked me about bowling the night before and I told her how much fun it was and who we bowled against. Then she gave S13 an Easter gift and hugged both of them again and said thanks to me and I said you're welcome. The boys and I left church and went home. I went for a walk while they took showers and got ready (they were too tired to shower before church). We then went to my parent's house and had lots of good fun and played dominoes for hours. We all had a really good time and laughed a lot which is what I think we all needed. Got home and then had to do laundry as S15 needed his baseball uniform cleaned for his game today - just checked and the game is cancelled.

How often does your W call you or correspond with you? I'm just curious. Does she seem happy?

It sounds like you had a nice Easter. You are fortunate to have family closeby. That's awesome.

BTW, I made the most amazing carrot cake for Easter. I bought it to a family get-together and a lot of people said it was the best carrot cake they've ever had. Have you ever heard ot the Silver Palate cookbook? I belong to a recipe list (even though I rarely cook!!!) and while trying to find their white cake recipe for a friend, I heard about the famous carrot cake!!! Yummmmmm it really is extremely good.

How often does your W call you or correspond with you? I'm just curious. Does she seem happy?

My W only calls about kid stuff, especially about S15's games as she is either late or not coming as much as she has in the past. We can go a day or so without contact. I usually wait for her to initiate something unless I need to tell her about one of the kids. I'm not sure if she is happy or not as we mostly converse by text messages. She seems fine when I see/talk with her at the games or if we happen to pass each other in the mornings. I'd say she is not as happy as she was at first or thought she would be as she lost many friends and family members because either she cut them out of her life or they are just mad at her. She doesn't believe people will forgive her for her actions these last few months.

Yes, Easter was a blast and I'm fortunate to have most of my family within driving distance.

Saw W 3 times today...once this morning as I was leaving for work and she gave me a hug...that was nice but I don't know why...then after work she was at the house before she went to see her IC...then I was out walking when she was driving back from IC and she stopped to ask me if she could borrow the bread pans we have as she needs to bake something next week. That last one is very strange as she never bakes...I guess she is trying new things in her new life.

I went to the doctor this morning for a follow up as I'm taking anti-meds and they are working wonderfully. Work was good and had dinner with the boys and my mom tonight. We had left over brownies from Easter, so I made brownie sundaes for everyone and they were delicious, warmed them up in the microwave...mmmmmm

I got to start watching my meals as I don't want to gain the weight I loss after the bomb...
