OK... H just got home. It was his friend looking for the condo/apt to rent. He was here Monday am... didn't know... and H didn't know I knew when it was accessed... so I don't think he made it up.
Given the history, can't help but be nervous. UGH!

Amen to that!! Don't fall into that trap! I know how you must have felt, your stomach just churns when you see it and IMMEDIATELY the worst thoughts come up. Been there, done that!

Sam - I have a faith candle I got for him. I may put it in his office one day, with a note telling him this has NOTHING to do with us, ONLY about him. I care about him, and want him to be happy with himself, and feel like his heart is full, no matter what...

H is a rare bird. I, seriously, cannot EVER see him agreeing to go to an MD, PdD, or any kind of D. However, our GP friend has a good chance of getting him to go... "men your age need a blahblahblah test, etc..." H will be 45 in a few weeks. May be an impetus to a visit. WISH ME LUCK! Thanks for the thought filled posts!

This is actually quite funny. Well, remember the post re: two hot babes pic? (go back a page) Well, on Friday, I just thought the replies to Jen's txt's were very NOT H-like. He doesn't punctuate like these were, doesn't use words like were used, etc... Also, thought one of them was odd because he asked if we were at Lake of the Ozarks now... (WHERE THE F WOULD WE BE? LOL)
Sooooo, I asked Jen to see her phone. I looked at her address book. Well, she sent it to a person w/my H's name, but it was a different person with that name! LOL My H's name in her phone book has his last name, too. Sooooo, now we are laughing hysterically because she's not only sent this person our pic (just a cute close up, no worries! LOL), but invited him to her lake home for a week, AND they agreed and were thrilled with the invite! So, I talk her into just straight-up asking this person WHO ARE YOU? Luckily it turned out to be a friend of she and her H's, and he took it well, but was disappointed to NOT have really been invited.
GOD, we laughed about that for hours!
Quick update: H got home last night from grocery shopping, and didn't appear worse for wear after having been asked if he was moving out! Helped me in the kitchen, played with kids, came upstairs to watch tv with me in our room, showed him the listing on the house he told me about, etc...

I feel ya! I guess the good thing is... I didn't freak out in front of or to him!
And, I could tell he really put the effort in to make sure I understood it wasn't him.
(OR IT COULD ALL BE A BIG LIE!!!!! Actually, probably not, since the guy who used his computer is getting ready to move, etc... And, why would my H be interested in a new home -- 4800 sq ft --- for just the kids and I?)

Soccer games, basketball game, D17 drama re: $475 prom dress she thinks she's entitled to, dinner w/H and kids @ Friday's (H's favorite, let H pick where to go...), then home to color eggs. The kids had been dying to see him since we were gone all week, and bugged him to play video games afterwards, so he did, and said he'd stay up to make sure D17 got home on time if I wanted to sleep (must have looked tired!).
Is it me, or is $475 for a PROM dress ridiculous? Her argument is that she's going to THREE prom's. (Did I ask her to go to 3 proms?!) Her argument is that she didn't go to winter formal, so I didn't have to buy her a dress. My argument is, you want Juicy sweats, Rock N Republic jeans, Ugg boots, etc... What is left to want after a freaking $475 prom dress? UGH! And, last time I checked, that's more than my wedding dress cost! Lastly, if she didn't procrastinate on the prom dress shopping, she wouldn't be limited to TWO choices in a city of 500,000+ people, and would have PLENTY of stores to choose from! God, give me strength. The power of teenage daughter drama could cause ulcers! (She was literally stomping her feet! LOL) If not for that reason only, I am NOT buying that damn dress!

Does your daughter have a job? With my girls, I pitch in whatever amount I feel is reasonable towards their prom dress, then they have to make up the difference.
