Well, I have been working out and am trying to cut sugar out of my life. I am a sugarholic. It is my next stage of trying to get healthy and get my life back.
I have been focusing on my work and I am considering moving to Florida where my son will be attending college.
Ex has to agree on it though due to the kid situation. He does not seem to be that much into my girls, so I don't know what he will think of it yet.
I am not going to ask until I know it is something I want to do for sure.
It is so difficult to move on in my life while ex lives 5 minutes away. Everything is a reminder, a memory........
If ex ever wants to reconcile, he will have to come find me.
I guess I am ready to start a completely different life. You can't wait for the Ml'er to reconcile, if it was meant to be it will happen.
The door is open, but I am also moving on for me.

I had to email ex about dropping the kids off tonight instead of tomorrow. He was more than happy to comply. His heart is changing and sometimes it is difficult to accept the small baby steps.

I haven't written on your threads for over a year, but I have tried to follow along as best I can.
If I remember correctly, your wedding date was 12.27.87 - the same exact day my wife and I were married! (I am still in the limbo-land of MLC separation which has been going on for more than two years now.)
Anyhow, I was born in Winter Haven Florida, which is just a few miles east of Lakeland and I still have relatives in that area. I drove down there the day after Thanksgiving this past November, and it was sad to see how few of the rolling acres of citrus groves still exist. However, the hundreds of lakes are still beautiful and there are many reasons to consider living down there.
You have been an inspiration to me, in showing how to move forward in one's life in a positive manner, while keeping the door to reconciliation slightly ajar.
I agree with your logic, but of course you need to Trust your intuition. If you take a trip to Lakeland and visit the various communities there, G-d will show you signs and you will know what the best decision for you and your children will be.
