Ok people. I just wrote up a listing for a piece of property for 1.6 million dollars. Pray it sells within the next couple of months. If it does we can have one heck of a party in June. If it doesn't, when it does sell we can have a party then too. My treat!!! LOL!!!!!
I received a call this morning from (man I need to come up with a name for her) ok, Miss G....settled thats it from now on.
I was on my way in to work with the radio cranked up so I didn't hear it. I listened to the message. It was my daughter and son singing me happy birthday.
It stung a bit a first. Don't get me wrong it was thoughtful I guess for Miss G to have them call me but it stung. Then all of a sudden I got a feeling of just pure motivation. It's hard to describe but that phone message really lit a fire under my @$$.
It's time for me to take things to a new level. To really put my nose to the grindstone and start busting my butt. My life took an unexpected turn, I have a new set of goals now. There are a couple of things I sacrificed because of my family and I was perfectly ok with that for the rest of my life. Now....well I have that chance once again. So I am going for it. Full speed ahead. It may take some time to get adjusted, a new door has opened and I have a new outlook, attitude, and drive because of what has happened.
I Have a busy weekend planned. The kids and I are going to have some fun. I'm going to take them out and find something new for us to do together. Trying to find something different, doesn't have to be anything big, just a new experience. I'm looking forward to it.
