WAW New life with OM #2

oh yeah, also baked a chocolate cake tonight for my parent's 45th wedding anniversary (today) but we are celebrating it tomorrow with them.

W came over this morning and took S13 to breakfast, S15 doesn't really want to be with his mom yet unless he needs a ride. Then me and the kids went to church and afterwards I went on a walk. Then, we picked up S15's girlfriend and went to my parents for a late lunch. After lunch we all enjoyed the cake I baked and then we played some card games and got home around 8:30. Then the kids did homework (I helped S13 with his math assignment) and now we are ready for bed. I felt really good day until about 7 or so then was felling down. But I'm doing better now and am ready to hit the sack. Hopefully, will not have to shovel too much snow tomorrow as we are getting hit pretty good for April. White Sox game already been rescheduled to Tuesday.

Today was a good day. Some issues at work which helps me keep my mind off of my sitch. Took a walk and talked with one of my cousins, nice to catch up. Made dinner for the kids then helped S13 with math homework. Went grocery shopping. Talked with W about kids and I get to have them for Easter!!
S15 hand is still sore and hurts, so he is not playing in his game tomorrow.

I am just moving along.

I just started an R talk (didn't plan on it & have not done so in a long time) however, we are on a family cellular plan and we have been going over our minutes lately and paying more each month. So, W suggested we up our plan to the next package cause it will save us in the long run. I thought about that and then I said well what is the future going to be? I said I checked out the different plans and if you are removed then the boys and I could downgrade a plan and save money. She then said, can we talk later about this and I said sure. I'm not sure I want to upgrade but I don't want to keep paying the extra money for using more minutes than is in our plan. I'll have to keep thinking about this...

Still thinking about the cellular plan... however:

Later this afternoon, my W called to discuss the phone situation and some issues with the kids and then asked me if she could join me and the kids at church for Easter Sunday. I was on my daily walk and almost dropped my phone. She has not asked to do anything with us since before she left. I told her with a smile that would be fine with me, and she asked if I would save her a seat and I said sure. Now, I know this does not mean anything more than just going to church but I'm glad she asked. I don't have any expectations and after Mass the kids and I will go to my parents and my W will go back to OM.

Tonight, my parents came over for dinner and we played cards until the kids had to start their homework. Another fun day and the sun even came out today

Work has been good even though we have had many issues this past week, my manager asked me to write up a presentation for his boss's staff meeting tomorrow. It will be the first time I will present something to the weekly manager "staff" meeting. Its a little intimidating and before the bomb I would been scared but now I'm looking forward to another opportunity to grow.

I'll continue to pray for my family and the families of the people who unfortunately find themselves on this wonderful board.

Plan to have a low-key and pleasant time on Sunday. The goal should be that afterwards she goes away with good memories of it. Protect yourself emotionally and continue to keep expectations at a low.

I think it's good that she's interested in participating in a family event. Use that opportunity to be easy going, positive and the type of guy any woman would enjoy being around. I don't think that will be difficult for you!

runningoutoftime, yes I plan on being myself and smile a lot
It will be a good day as I get to spend time with my extended family and will keep expectations low. I think I have been doing well with the expectations as it keep the roller coaster dips to a minimum. How are you doing?

I survived and did good with my presentation at my manager's boss's staff meeting. It felt good to not be nervous and I answered all questions fairly well

Today I walked to and from my brother's house. We had meatloaf and watched the 1975 Trilogy of Terror starring Karen Black. It was fun to see it again.

Came home and watched the end of the White Sox game with the boys and now we are getting ready for bed.

Ok, feeling down today but I know it won't last.

Meeting with IC later and then I'll go for walk then attend little league meeting (oh yeah, make dinner in between for me and the kids). I'm so glad we have tomorrow off so I can sleep in a little and S15 has a double header but I'm not sure if he'll be playing cause of his hand still hurts. Saw W this morning as I was walking out the door and she looked very cute today, maybe cause I don't see her much these last few weeks.
