Hi Karen, thats what i wanted to know. My H is exactly the same. Throws himself in to any new activity 110%. Very addictive personality - not a drinker ( cautious of ) but smoker and CANNOT quit. Leaned on me heavily.
Must be a particular personality. Hs OW has been around 7 months and although he still denies she is nothing more than a friend ( duuurrrr )we all know better. My H has also caused tremendous collateral damage to consider stopping the D process. I would like a better relationship with him but I think thta wont be for a looooooong time

Like mine, a IC a long time ago said he sounded like a dry drunk...moving from one addiction to another.

Nope, I hsed the kids this am, b/c with the bad storms we've had the past couple days, S15 got behind in his virtual school. We are now officially caught up. Whew! I realize with the new job we're going to have to start homeschooling on the weekends more which I didn't used to do much b/c we also hs year-round with just a few weeks off here and there.
Then the walking job and took me an hour to get home b/c the first way I went was flooded--we had a lot of rain lately! Then art club, more hsing, looking for a place to live, and finally a break now!!! Just need to do chores and clean up a bit. Then I'm done!!! My day was so boring!!! I am going to try to get the phone tomorrow since H is picking up the kids sometime tomorrow afternoon (after he runs a 50K race). Hope everyone's having a good weekend. I've gotta try to have some fun soon!!!
Alright I finally found the store; it's about 45 minutes from where I live. When I called them last week they wouldn't ship the phone to me. I went in today and 1st they called H for his permission or authorization or something without asking me, and then wouldn't sell me a replacement phone for $150.00 b/c H is past due on his bill (2 weeks late) and said I'd have to come in again with him to get it!!! Alright, you don't have to tell me it's time I get my own plan! I've already started pricing some today, and way cheaper than that!
H picked up the kids while I was at work and left a note. Kids with me and check and an arrow pointing to it. That's the first note he's left me in like 2 years!!! Hope everybody's having a good weekend. Karen
Ok, crazy day today. Went to the halfway point (20 minutes away) and picked up D9 at 9:30 for sunday school/church as she was singing today in the kids choir, and then they had a pizza party after. Then drove to the halfway point again at 2:00 to drop her off as H decided he wanted to see her after church. He then asked me to pick her & S15 up there at 6:30 tonight. So almost 2 hours of driving today just to pick up/drop off the kids. Gotta love divorce!!! Karen
So picked the kids up and got home around 7. I asked the kids if they had dinner and they didn't. H said he only had a pizza and didn't have time to make it! D9 says he said he didn't have enough $$ left (he gets paid next week) to pay for the fair in town but will take them next week. H looked rough today; he did that ultramarathon yesterday and looked tired and scraggly beard and all. I don't think anyone would ever guess he is an L!!! Karen
Shoot. I found a cute looking house to rent(they have 7 pictures on realtor.com). It's in a really good location, safe neighborhood (or at least used to be 10 years ago I had a friend used to live in that area). Five blocks from the community college which I'm hoping S15 could attend in 1.5 years when he's old enough. About 20 minutes from the theatre and church where we do a lot. And five minutes from the park and 5 to 10 minutes from H's apt. But the bad news: don't know if they take pets yet, and also it's $800 which is way more than the 500 to 700 I was hoping for.
I'm tempted to talk to H about it; he wants me to live in that area and it would be good for the kids, but maybe he could increase my current monthly payment if I run out of $$$. The problem is finding a place that is 500 to 700 and will take dogs, so far I haven't been able to do it. And it might be in a town a few towns away from him like I am now. Ideas anyone????
Shoot. I emailed the realtor and she emailed me back. She already has tenants that are going to move in May 1st. She said if there's a problem with that, she'll contact me. Shoot, I would have moved in this week!!! Karen
