So, the best friend is OK... Had an MRI and she is fine. They gave her a fancy name for a rapid drop in blood pressure, not eating enough, etc...

Anyways, dodged that issue. Now we have S12 home sick with the hurls, and his best friend who is going with him got the hurls this afternoon, too. Geesh! I guess when you have twelve people going somewhere, the odds are too good NOT to have issues getting out of town!
H called this am wanting to know about uncle and best friend. Chatty, think he was bored driving... (Thanks for checking on them. I have to finish three quotes before I go to lunch w/best friend.) H calls while I'm driving. Wants to tell me he remembered something that we were both trying to remember during conversation earlier. Will be home earlier tonight than most weekends. Wants to go to a fundraiser S12's friends parents are holding tomorrow night. (trying not to remember last Friday night's fundraiser fiasco!)
D17 has six girlfriends here. They're getting ready to go to a dance party. Good Lord! LOUD! HEAVILY made up! Clothes, Shoes, BRONZER, etc., flying all over! Glad they're here though, so I know they were at least behaving until they left here! And, the dance party is at a sports complex that my friend owns. One night fairly under control!
S9 is livin' large. Papa John's pizza, a new video game, and making signs to hold up for his Tar Heel's for tomorrow night! He THINKS he has been bidding on ebay for tickets to the FINAL FOUR tomorrow. NOT!

Burt... I took it to see the questions. A lot of it was easy for me to know what he would say, just based on actions, daily habits, etc... He works out of town M-F, home once or twice during the week.
Yes, S8 is a MAJOR Tar Heels fan. If you're not, you would NOT want to see the bedroom, OR his wardrobe. He's so warped, that every day after school, he goes to the little boys room, and changes out of his school uniform, and into his Tar Heels b-ball jersey and shorts, JUST to walk out of school! This has been going on ALL school year! I think he thinks chicks dig him in Tar Heels blue! LOL
S12 is an Illinois fan. His bedroom has the big I painted on the wall, with blue walls and an orange ceiling. He's convinced he's going there to kick for their football team (since they don't have a Men's soccer team), play club soccer, and run track. Not sure when he thinks he's actually going to a class, but...
D17 is not a fan of anything but herself right now. Second semester Senior who is "all that."

The kids all go to Lutheran schools (second fundraiser).
Hopefully, we're done donating funds for awhile! D17 is graduating in May, and we'll now have college tuition, along with the boys' Lutheran Schools tuition! Ouch!

I do try to make every form of communication a connection of some sort. We're in the Lake of the Ozarks, MO this week (kids and I, w/one of my BFF's and her kids... H's had to work. We're not used to going on vaca without him. It's tearing me apart. Not much fun.
