I hope you are having a good night by now. And I agree with naej but too late now, you are going to do what you feel you want to...
When I studied negotiation skills for Foreigh Affairs issues, my professor said, that the one who gets the better deal after negotiating, is the one that has alternatives that the other one isnt aware of. It's like having a power you only know about that allows you to set boundaries and if those boundaries are not respected, you can go to Plan B. It gives you confidence. THe Piscean could be that for you in your case now. xxxx K
Ali, we will be here with the asprin when you return.
Sounds like it could be quite a night for more than you. Now my dull night in with glass of wine, writing shopping list and early night to finish my book sounds deathly dull. At least I won't have a hangover tomorrow tho.
I've got quite keen on shopping lists to keep me entertained!!! C'on!
Please do tell!
At the moment I have;
A shredder - for garden stuff - boy toy No 1 A hedge clipper - boy toy No 2! Toilet rolls Chorizo (?) Milk Pancake mix Chillies Sticky stuff to take up trousers - no sewing!!! Shuttlecocks Meat - and potatoes - cos my dad's coming to stay! And he loves meat and potato pie! Which also means I'm going to have to make pastry!- Argghhh! Now then - what else?
Oh - fruit ... and proper veg to meet our prescribed 5 a day!
Thanks Mishka, that makes me feel a little better. We just have to believe that one day our prince will come OR we win the lottery. I have got the dentist on Monday so thats an outing---how sad am I? no don't answer that,I'm trying to only have the one glass of wine.
Oh missed Simons list! He,s such a bloke I write my list in (as near as possible) aisle order! I,m impressed with the healthy food stuffs but the mind bogals (sp)at the rest of the weeks meals. Shuttlecocks---lets not go there. Only joking. I have never get that non sew stuff to work for me. You can buy ready made pastry that is quite good and the rough puff or flaky is excellent. How about some butter beans to go with the chorizo, makes a good casserole. My list wasn't as exciting tho, new towel rail and toilet roll holder plus blind for recently redone downstairs cloak, then food stuffs then pet food,then Easter treats for my d and g/s coming later in the week,flowers lastly hair appointment.
When they make a shredder that makes no noise I,ll buy one. I could always hem your trousers in return for some shreddin.
Anyway thats my list but last week I called in for a pint of milk and cat food and came out with a trolly full and over a hundred pounds bill. I find it impossible to shop for one and always have a chest freezer full plus overflow kitchen cupboards! Anyone else have that problem?
