Hi Thinker, I have not written in quite a while so I was trying catch up on your thread. Is this OM you are suspecting W of having an EA with the "friend" whose kids played with your kids and she would use them as her excuse to go to his house.......without you? Or is this a new man you suspect her having an EA?

Same OM. It did all "end" about 6 weeks ago, but I know that it has continued at some low level - or at least she has continued to reach out to him occasionally.

I can say that the level of communication between them has at a minimum dropped way, way back and / or gone deeper underground.

I asked her about it yesterday - as directly as I could. It was a good conversation, if a bit ugly. She got very defensive. She admitted that she had reached out to him in an email, but had otherwise had no contact with him, and told me that it had been really really hard for her to go from having the contact and the discussions with him to not having it.

So my read now is that, she is trying very hard to cut it off, it is painful to her to do so, and she weakens, backslides and contacts him.

She is also very definitely not ready to begin with me again.
