PS. Don't forget to change your direct deposit. Or. What you should do is: Leave the old account open. Transfer as much as you can to the new account. Leave enough in the old account to cover the outstanding. Go to vMPF or whereever (can't remember) to change your direct deposit account. And then leave the accounts alone until the direct deposit starts going into the new account. It shouldn't take too long. Don't use the old account after you transfer everything out of it. Make sure you remember to transfer new paychecks into the new account...there is no point in that money sitting there in an account with both your names on it.
