A New Decade

Well, surprise #2 today, my H called me at work!! He hadn't done that since last fall. (But I know his company is watching their emails). Anyway, he called to apologize for not faxing his pay check for D papers, told me today at work was bad too & that he felt like quitting. He wanted to vent to me, but knew he couldn't. Said he would call me tonight. I told him, the lawyer said we didn't need it & to try & have a good day.

H didn't call me, so I decided to leave him a message - hope your day worked out better, talk to you later. As I was leaving the message, he was calling me. The phone rang when I hung up & it was him. He apologized for not picking up & told me why. (This is quite unlike him). I asked if he wanted to vent about work. He said a little & vented a lot. I just listened & made small comments. He had to let me go, so he could eat. He then said he would stop over on Saturday, corrected himself & asked if he could (it seems my car registration went to his house, so he was going to bring it by). I said that I didn't have anything planned & Saturday would be ok.

And so the oddities continue........
