So Confused,

Mine also. He is the boss. She is his employee. He could get in so much trouble with the financial industry......

Not in their right mind

Really, is a little bit of young girl booty worth flushing their careers down the toilet???? I'm glad I'm a woman and think with my brain. LOL

It is amazing the stupidity. My ex's OW is soooo dumb and needy. My ex would have never looked twice at her if he would have been in his right mind.

Anyway, ex called tonight and said he wanted to talk about daughter (14). He said she is showing him no respect and talks to him like he is her servant.

I gave him some parenting pointers and told him I would talk with her.

Despite what he has done, I will still have to insist on respect. I always tell her love her dad, hate his actions. She is just starting to realize the damage he has done to us and his life. She actually has lost a lot of respect for him. I can't imagine going through what she has. I did tell ex that part of this is a normal consequence for him. He needs to improve his relationship with her and show her that he can be a man of character. He agreed (that blew my mind). It was like he was normal again.

We talked for about an hour. The only negative thing he said was that he still is angry at me (WTF), but is trying to get over it. I did not respond to this at all. I just changed the subject and bit my lip. Maybe he was projecting - whatever.

I asked to speak to the baby. He said the kids were not with him. He was out driving alone in his car. My guess is that he left the kids with OW so he could call me without her seeing.

This was quite a surprise tonight.

"During his MLC, he told me that I had too many "male" characteristics, such as my education and independence. He wanted someone who would look at him with stars in her eyes. "

You know, Trusting, I am much the same way. I felt as if I had become H's mother and I was the one who held it together while H had his moods.

I am back in touch with my feminine side and it feels good. I can be strong and feminine.

As far as stars in eyes...I think admiration is a legitimate need. It's one on marriage builders.

Ex picked daughter up for dinner tonight. This irritates me so much since this is my weekend with the kids. He disregards the visitation schedule so much. Anyway, I did not say anything and just kept myself occupied with the baby. I hope this was the best way to handle this...

Trusting, I see by your sig that you have been going through this for a long time. I noticed that you said that your H got out and drove around in his car to call you. Is this b/c he can't call in front of OW?
I am really frustrated b/c my h will call me about something, in front of og (too young for w) and talk to me with this tone like I am dirt under his feet. I guess it's to impress her??? Oooh, look how mean I can be to my w of 12 years and the mother of my children... I wish he would go somewhere else to call me, but chooses to do this instead. They have only been together for a couple of months, and he feels the need to do this why??? It's not like it's been two years for us. We just sep. the end of December. Going to hearing for D on 4/20. The day after our 12th anniversary.

uggggggg You know, at this point, if he's with the girl fine. Couldn't he at least speak to me in a respectful manner though?
When and if I go out later and start looking for another man... that would NOT be a characteristic I would go for.. lets see- ignores his kids- check
disrespects wife and mother of kids- check
broke from paying c/s- check
acts like a teenager- check
What a great catch. That right there is the difference between an 18 yo girl and a 32 year old woman folks.
