Ok, I just have to say this.

H wouldn't need to file if he was filing single as his income was below the minimum that requires you to file.

I don't know if it will turn out that I have to pay or will get money back, but if I am getting money back, why should I give him anything????

It's all my income and I've been paying the mortgage with my salary.
