Hi everyone. Sorry for being on the AWOL circuit for a while. Things with me just keep ... well... just keep going ridiculous.
Home front - great when with kids. Have fun when not with kids but miss them immensely.
Have exchanged proposals with W. OMG - if I could get what she is asking for, I would never work again! She has agreed (at this point) to let me buy her out of the house. That is one of the few positives. She is asking for, get this, 75% of our combined net take home! Her salary (she is now working "permanent part-time") plus child support and spousal support from me. So I get my kids 50% of the time and a whopping 25% of net take home to live on. Hmmmmmmmmmm... Was supposed to meet today with the lawyers and mediator but I sent my lawyer alone to meet her lawyer. Made no sense to me to meet given the proposals exchanged to date. Just would be an expensive and frustrating waste of time.
Job took an interesting turn today. My boss had been riding me hard about commitment, engagement, leadership. I was demoted - supervisory responsibilties removed. Threatened with being fired. Well, Karma struck - he was fired today for poor leadership and poor judgement... I do not wish that on anybody, don't get me wrong, but it is interesting.
So life continues. I have signed up to play ball this summer and am looking at joining an adult ball hockey league. I also want to find a good cooking class to take!
So that is the update in a nutshell. I will try to come back more often, if for no other reason than to say hi!
The alt universe message get to my blackberry as well, so there is always that.
