She never "Get's Angry" she just that sometimes she "Feels Angry"
She actually never openly shows me any emotion at all.
I think I did an OK job of listening and validating what she said - but she actually said very little. During the discussion I had to keep asking follow up questions, etc in order to get her to say anything.
It was interesting to me that the one time I took a hard stand (calmly, but firmly) was when I stated that she was not going to separate me from the kids. - at that point she said "see now we are getting angry" - I have seen her angry - red-faced, hair flying, screaming angry, so I know what angry looks like. This was not it - just a small increase in the tension between us for a few sentences.
