I think we've killed and gotten rid of the little lice !!!
I used a special shampoo, and then something called 'Radical'...then LOTS of hair conditioner... and bingo !
I totally hope they stay away for a while now !
On a brighter note... my drier broke down through all of this, I'm sure it got overloaded with all the washing I did...so H told me to buy a new one, and I did, and now have a GREAT one !!! (yes, expensive too...but it will last me 20 years !!)

Funny how getting a new appliance can be exciting, but I do that too. I just got a new dishwasher and my what a difference in time!!
Glad you got rid of the lice. We had a problem a few years back and I found this comb that had an electric charge and it killed the lice. Really amazing. Haven't had a problem since but will keep these other home remedies in mind.
Sorry I don't know more about your situation. I have been divorced for 8 months(almost) and have been going through ex's affair mess for nearly 3 years total. I don't think I am ready to date yet either!

Hey Cinders...just catching up on your thread...Lice! eww, they sure are a pain to get rid of...when my son had them the easiest thing to do was just shave his head!!!

Well, I think the lice are dead and hopefully won't return any time soon !
True, well.... no, I haven't stopped it completely.. I still have contact with one guy...it still feels weird and unnatural, to call or even email, but I have chickened out 3 times allready and even though he gets 'dumped'. He seems intrigued by me, so keeps being interested in me... yikes ! haha ! Weird that someone who hardly knows you, still wants contact after such turn downs... I like that he is sure of himself, when he talks to me, he's sweet yet dominant, and he loves to talk on the phone (I don't !!! especially not to 'strangers') Oh well, weird combination I suppose !
I've been truly busy with all sorts of social activities, school (for the kids) and friends...last few weeks have been chaotic and busy, but I'm loving it !!!
