DQ's advice about kissing more is the ticket to improving my situation.
For a SSM, just focusing on increasing kissing is a "baby step" goal. You don't have to worry about practical barriers (baby-at-large, privacy, shower-fresh) to steal a passionate kiss. And, kissing more frequently makes ML sessons less overwhelming to face, I think.
Kissing alone uncovers the issues within a stand-off situation (who is initiating the kiss, who always seems to initiate the kiss, how the kiss is received, if both people are "into it"...), so you can work through these issues together even without ML.
Kissing keeps the passion alive even during long breaks in between ML.
