Hi!! Hope all of you are okay as well.

I am okay.

No jobs for any of us at the present moment but when you don't have a car, you can't find a job. My car is parked in the garage for how long, who knows but it is not driveable. H is having to come over so I can use his car for different things and he still comes over to take the kids places.

Other than that, all is okay.

So...

Have you started planning your Easter dinner?

I already bought my leg of lamb.

And I found a recipe today for this amazing cake I want to bake.

BND:

Yep--got it all under control. I just have to get some garlic. I am making pies, I think, for our dessert. Thanks for reminding me as I need to see what is needed for that so I can add it to my grocery list.

I was able to find Greek Orzo at Sprouts (of all places!). And the price was very reasonable vs. the Middle Eastern store I frequent.

Orzo

I use all of the juices leftover in the pan from the lamb, put in 1-2 lbs. of orzo, a large can of tomato sauce, some water, and worcestershire sauce and put it in the oven for about 20 minutes, stirring constantly.

It is a pasta side dish (instead of potatoes) that the Greeks like to make.

Thank you all for the Easter wishes. And I hope all of you have a nice Easter also.

Not much new around here.

My car is still stuck in the garage and as of the other day, would not start at all so we must rely on H for a car which is like pulling teeth. When I tell him what time I would need to run errands, he will say he will be here around noon. So what does he do--he arrives 1-2 hours later. I have kept my cool which is difficult because his car has no a/c and you cannot roll the windows down either.

The other night D15 was watching tv and he wanted so badly to watch something else. She would not budge and he was really edgy. It was kind of funny to watch.

H has been hanging out on the patio with S18 99% of the time. I no longer walk him out to the car. What gets to me is when H comes over and when he leaves, he does not say a word unless spoken to.

I give up--I do not contact him at all, and for the most part, I just do my thing and I do not pay particular attention to him when he is here.

Next week is our 19th wedding anniversary. It is going to be tough for me to keep my mouth shut but nothing I say would change anything.

I have had people say he may be reliving the stages--I don't know. I am kind of numb about my feelings for him.

I am looking forward to cooking lamb for the kids and I.
