Sam, the shoe talk is distracting on purpose - I need some distraction to help get me off the emotional roller coaster that is xBF.

MC and davidswife are right, you'd score major points with a woman if you got her a fab pair of shoes or handbag. The trick is that you have to know her style. That's kind of the excuse xBF used for years as to why he never bought me jewelry. "But I'd end up picking out something you wouldn't like or wear." I always thought that was a copout. He would notice if one new bottle of wine was added to the pile (storage space was at a premium in those days) or if I got a new item of clothing but he didn't notice what type of jewelry I wear? Pfft.

Amy, go for the 3" green heels! I usually wear 3-4" heels bc I'm 5'5" and need the help. But since I've been unemployed I've gotten a few pair of flats, I call them my homemaker shoes since I wear them while I'm out running errands. Looking forward to getting a job and wearing all my heels again!

Tawnya, check out Atlanta. If it doesn't work for you I promise not to pressure you anymore. I just think it would be a fun long weekend! Are Amy and I banned from any kind of shopping or just shoe shopping?
