Perhaps we ought to stick to shoes...I bought four pairs yesterday. But I swear I got a really good deal!

Giants, eh? Didn't they used to play in the Polo Grounds??? Not sure, as I can't see across the Harlem River clearly, what with all these WORLD SERIES FLAGS flying in my way and all . . . .
I did MAJOR retail therapy this weekend! 9 new tops and three new pairs of pants. I can now justify the orange pumps and the purple peeptoes I want, too, since I have at least two shirts with each of those colors in them!
Then, for some wishful shopping, I has a Pure Romance Party on Monday night and I won the gift basket full of products, toys(), and lingerie (). Now, if my sailor would just get his butt home.....

Got a pair of Ugg boots. Not the regular ones, waterproof/all purpose boots. I am so not into Uggs as a fashion statement but they are warm. And they were super on sale.
One pair of green open toe strappy slingbacks. Super on sale also so couldn't pass them up. I have no idea what I will wear them with but they are so cute!
One pair of deep red pointy toe d'orsay pumps. These are to go with the charcoal interview suit.
Also a new pair of walking shoes. That's really what I went to the store for in the first place!

I'm sure I'll find something to wear the green shoes with. It's just a bit difficult right now with most of my wardrobe being two sizes too big. When super cute shoes are $17 you just don't pass them up!
Glad you had good retail therapy too! I've been looking for more tops with purple to wear with those shoes. Orange pumps?? I found a pair last year in NY that I was in love with but couldn't think of anything I would wear them with so took a pass. But I still think of them. They had a cool shaped heel. Sigh.
