Make sure she doesn't have any tangles underneath where you can't see them. When you wash it, be sure to use a good detangling conditioner. They have lots of them for kids. Make sure the brush is kind of soft, not one of those real stiff harsh ones. You know the kind with the little balls on the end of the (um, omg, what are the litle brushy things called??) brain fart... You know what I mean!!! Brush through the top inch or two, then hold your hand on the scalp part while you brush down through the long part. That way, it's not pulling because your hand is kind of not allowing it to pull on her scalp.
