I asked my W if there were any business analyst positions opened at where she works. She said there were 2. I said can I post for them. She said no that I don't have the skills. I said how do you know. She said they want her. Literally. I said ok. But there are 2 positions open. Its the same company that originally came to me for the job I passed onto her.

She said she isn't willing to stake her reputation on me. I told her I won't be bothering her I just need to get my foot in the door. I asked if I can have the contact name and she said she will give it to me. She also said she does not want me working on the same floor or in the same building as her. Again I said I would leave her alone and I just want to build my own reputation as a BA.

I told her it would help me get going, let me get a place, and get started with my life back on track. The company is a big company. Its not like we would have to have any interaction together. Geez, I gave the job to her and now she won't return the favor to get us both up and going. Wow. We have worked for the same company before and did great. Its not a big deal.

I guess I will see what she says.
