In desperate need of advice, separation looming!

So that sounds like what I would interpret as going dark. Am I right?

People view me as a friendly outgoing guy, as do I, but I don't really talk about anything much with the people at the grocery store, etc.

So that's why i ask if what you say is like going dark, from what I understand of that method.
