trapt, I guess the point I was trying to make is this.
For self esteem alone we deserve better...however saying we deserve better is a trap as well. It's like resting on your laurels. It's like 'oh you poor thing, I cannot believe she did that to you, your such a jem!'
Saying we deserve better to me is...like an assumption. I have reached my goal and until you catch up, I'm going to sit here.
I do see your point. I am well aware of my own shortcomings, I will never just sit still or place myself above someone else. It's just that I don't think anyone deserves to be lied to or cheated on. Everyone makes mistakes and I have forgiven her. It's frustrating to see her just sitting there all whoa is me you deserve better and I'm not going to make the effort to pick myself back up and try.
