I spoke with my coach today, explained how I backslid huge during the past two weeks, and she helped me to refocus on Stage 1, "reducing the negative emotions". It sounds like you're in stage 2 or 3, which we all have hopes for.
My coach's ideas along with your observations will help me to carefully choose areas that I can 'lightly lift' some pressures off of my W so that she can focus on herself rather than be irritated by things I used to do for the household or her interaction with me during the past few weeks.
The warm-to-cold-to-warm response cycles continue to be tough for me, and my coach proposed that I was doing the same warm-cold routine by over analyzing everything my wife said and did on a daily basis. It's true, I've mistakenly read more into situations than is necessary because I focused too much on W rather than on myself.
