Not quite sure how to act next time we have to talk. I'm pretty sure up until this point, I have been way too nice. He was still having the best of both worlds. I need to be strictly buisness now right? Absolutely no small talk or being friendly. I just hate to have my kids parents not even be able to have a conversation with each other.
There is a way to be respectful to him, even if most would think he is undeserving. Just remain calm, remember any negative emotions will only fuel the mlc machine. You have your head on straight, so be the bigger person. That doesn't mean you let him spew at you, and if he says something off the wall remember blah blah blah, don't give it any power. Treat him like an acquaintance for now.
You will have to communicate when it comes to the kids. That benefits them and he is their father.
