Are you well hydrated? That's a major trigger for me. Whenever I get a headache (and it is quite often) it's either a weather system moving in or I didn't drink enough water that day.
Excedrin is the only thing that knocks mine out. FYI-there's no difference between the different kinds of Excedrin (except PM), it's just different packaging. So I have E tablets rolling around in every purse I own for emergencies, plus I always carry a little bottle with me. The only problem I have is that I have to take them with food because the caffeine upsets my stomach.
Hope you feel better soon!

Silver..(with apologies to the men who read my thread) LOL, I started having some perimenopausal TYPE symptoms when I turned 36, not hot flashes, but just changes in hormones basically..so I never know if that's what triggers it.
Pearl..you could be right and I waited to eat later cause we were busy, tho that doesn't always bother me..so I dunno..thank you about the info about the Excedrin. Actually we bought it for my son who gets migraines a lot, something different to try. I usually don't try the Excedrin because the caffeine normally seems to make my heart feel like it's in a marathon..but it did well tonight and has helped, but still have a tiny bit of pain still..it's very annoying..I'm thinking it could have to do with wearing my contacts so much, which are not AS clear of vision as my glasses, close, but not quite...so I dunno?! Giving my eyes a break this evening and tomorrow

Hope your headache is better. It probably isn't hormonal, more likely stress related with going to work a long day and having a rough time at the moment. I have had several over the last few weeks and I certainly wasn't menopausal...or I hope not!
LOLOL {{{Silva}}} that made me laugh this morning Yeah, it is probably a combo of not getting enough sleep, on top of a long day, on top of that it was raining, on top of..who knows LOLOL Tho..you never know about that menopausal thing

So, I have an incredible headache today. I was gonna blame it on lack of sleep, but, now, I'm thinking hormones are to blame. But, I'll get some Excedrin at lunch...now that I know it's the "cure all."
Just wanted to pop in and say that you are an awesome friend! Thanks for everything!!!!

{{{Amy}}}} aww..I hate that I would have passed it on to you Hormones are a HUGE player in my headaches, I keep track of them and usually get them around the middle of the month and so I dunno what else that could be from, unless I am just not fond of the middle of the month LOLOL And..you are an awesome friend right back..love ya!! thank YOU
