2009 - The Craziness Continues

Hi all. Well, it is a new week and thank goodness... or so I thought.

Last week, received an e-mail from MIL and FIL saying they were disappointed with how I was treating their daughter, depriving her of the "lifestyle to which she had become accustomed", etc etc etc. Obviously W's lies have got to them. I tried to have a convo with them but they decided against it. My reply: "I respect your desire to not be involved any further at this time. It is unfortunate, however, that you appear to not have the complete truth or facts."

Was out of house from last Wed to Mon morning - schedule changed a bit to accommodate W's request re last weekend of the month. So nice to be back with k's today.

Mediation continued today with lawyers also present today. W was at her irrational and unreasonable best. Round and round we went with no end in sight so we agreed to each prepare a proposal and go from there. Was nice to have my L see W's performance first hand.

I had mentioned before about the newer, larger vehicle that I wanted to stay at the house for use by whomever has he kids. Still hasn't happened so we brought it up again today. Why do I need it W asks. Again I mention that other vehicle only has 4 extra seats so if k's want to bring friends, limited to what we can do. W's reply contained following:
* maybe you should learn to say no to the kids (AMAZING!!!)
* I have already given up so much, why should I. I sleep in the basement on a sofabed when I am in the house. [I asked W why because when I am not in house bedroom is free anyway. Her reply was I am not sleeping in there - you don't even change the sheets. When I said actually I wash them each time I am there, she said, and yes this is a quote, "YOUR MOM COMES TO WASH THEM FOR YOU."]

So you can see this is going nowhere. Here I sit. W still thinks I am hiding money and is demanding I pay for everything.

Anyway, let's see what this week brings.

On another note, I personally am doing much better. Cannot sleep tonight for some reason BUT have been getting out to different things, going out with friends, enjoying the kids and just enjoying life. Doing things I want to do for me.
