Thank you for checking in on me! I really appreciate it. My parents have been here up until today so I haven't had much time on the computer. I will try to check in on everyone soon. I have a bad headache tonight but we are supposed to get some bad weather in tomorrow. Sleet & freezing rain, it was 82 yesterday!! This is going to hurt!!
I got my alimony check on the 6th so that tells me that the OW sent that email b/c she wanted me to email that I didn't get my check on time. It was dated the 6th & I'm supposed to get it on the 5th. My ex is good about things being on time especially with something like that so I know she did it. All my friends that know my ex also said that he wouldn't have sent any of those emails.
I ment to tell you some time ago that my H does hardly do anything the way he used to. He is a totally different person and even our friends told me that he sometimes writes to them in a hatred and nasty way. He almost lost his good sense of humour.
So what you think OW wrote could have been your H after all.
Anyway, I am glad you had a good time with your parents. Hopefully, spring will arrive soon at your part of the world as well. We also had some snow again and it got cold but the week-end should be sunny and warmer.
My ex's SIL called me this morning & told me about ex & OW being in Laos, but said ex is very unhappy & they are moving back to the states in April. She did say the money was good but it’s terrible over there like being in a 3rd world country. Said he is working 12 hours, 7 days a week, only has time to eat & a little sleep. So, I'm pretty sure now that OW sent all those emails.
SIL also said that they are going to live with them in KY for about 3 months until he can find another job.
SIL told me that they stayed with them for 2 weeks before they left for Laos & said that OW was very needy & has my ex wrapped around her finger. She said that if she has a headache in the middle of the night, she will get my ex up to get her an aspirin. That’s not ex at all!! He likes to be the one in control! He never liked the woman to be in charge, he would always say when we were out with another couple & the woman made all the decision or the man would do exactly what the woman wanted, he would say, "you can tell who wears the pants in that family". His Mom controlled his dad but he hated it!! He said his dad should have left her years ago.
N, He certainly didn't stay out of the country very long. I believe we called that one right after he left.
I don't feel sorry for him one bit. I think he and the ow deserve each other. Let him continue waiting on her hand and foot. It'll get old in time. He may have a difficult time locating a job in today's market.
Sit quietly and the answers will fall into your lap. Everything is coming to a head...just like we thought.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
I find it just so crazy that the MLCers do things for the OW that they never did for us. And most of them get themselves in a terrible mess and are unhappy.
I hope you can detach a bit more and not think of XH and OW too often. I know it is hard to do and the memories keep surfacing.
Thank you all so much!! I do believe it is all coming to a head!! I don't think she will like KY, that town anyway b/c it is not very big, it's a college town but it's still a lot of farmers, not the city life she is used to. I can't figure out why they are going there & not with her family. Maybe there is a reason there!
He was always good to me & waited on me hand & foot when I was sick or had minor surgery but not for a headache, especially in the middle of the night. He is a sound sleeper & I hardly ever woke him up. His SIL said no man will put up with what she saw for very long.
I'm having a hard time finding a job, I know he will!!! What happens when the money runs out???
My SIL said they were sick a lot in Laos, food poisoning, stomach stuff. But she did say it was like being in a 3rd world country & anti american. She said no one spoke english & there were about 5 other languages.
It seems to me like the book I read, "Men in MLC" is all coming true. They keep looking for happiness & can't find it! They change everything & then they realize it's within them.
My SIL said she had a feeling when they got back that they will have both aged a lot!
