H is coming over much more often---he came over three times during the week, this weekend, and he is going to let me borrow his car to do some grocery shopping as my son has to work everyday this week except for thursday.

Good to see you post but sad that nothing has changed. I take it H still has no job and is still living elsewhere. I guess lending you his car is a biggie, but from a normal persons standpoint its what anyone would do especially as you and son have to share transport and he has to be nowhere on any given day. Did you manage to get the repairs done on your car yet and did his father ever reply to his letter?

We are very content with the way things are progressing.
I only came to post because I have had people ask about me. I did not come here to hear negativity or to hear that nothing has changed. You don't know that. All I wanted to do was to let people who have inquired know that we are well, and that progress is being made, that we still have contact with my H.
It is irrelevant whether the repairs have been done or if his father replied.
Right now, it is in God's Hands and certainly out of mine and I am very content with this.
As I said, things are moving forward and we are happy with the progress we have seen.

I am sorry MWG, I didn't mean to offend you. I just assumed he still had no job etc as you didn't post about it. If you are happy with things and progress that is all that matters. I know when you stopped posting things were not good and you had financial worries so I am really pleased that all is going well for you.
Sorry for the perceived negativity, it wasn't meant to sound like that. As you had been concerned over the car it was just a question with no negativity attached.
S18 got laid off from his job on Monday. I'm still looking but it is tough.

I am also saying hi and am glad that you are fine. Hopefully, your S18 won't be laid off for very long. I can imaging that you looking for a job is tough.
